Eden Foundation operate the Wugu Nonprofit Preschool in Miaoli County. Recently, it hosted the “Colorful Wanderings in Gongguan—End-of-Term Showcase and Year-End Bazaar.” Through an exhibition of learning achievements, stage performances, and a year-end charity bazaar, the event showcased the children's learning journey and growth trajectory throughout the semester. Parents and the community were invited to witness the authentic growth accumulated through the children's free-spirited learning.

Children's Learning Achievements Exhibition
The event commenced with vibrant musical performances by the preschool 's three classes. Through music and movement, the children demonstrated confidence, focus, and teamwork. Subsequent class presentations showcased learning outcomes spanning motor development, cognitive learning, emotional expression, and creative exploration, concretely illustrating the children's accumulated progress in daily life and learning.

Dazzling Dance Performances
Rainbow Class (Pre-nursery Class) centered their performance around the preschool's daily routine, showcasing the children's progress in motor development and following instructions. They demonstrated their self-care skills by packing their own backpacks in front of parents, highlighting the independence and confidence cultivated in daily life. A parent-child “Heart-to-Heart” handprint activity was also arranged, using colorful handprints of parent and child to enhance interaction and emotional bonding.

Joy Class (Mixed Ages: Nursery & Pre-Kindergarten) presented an emotional journey through a musical scenario play exploring themes of joy, anger, sadness, and happiness. Through role-playing and physical expression, children practiced identifying, expressing, and transforming emotions. In the “Chasing Away Emotional Monsters” activity, they demonstrated their progress in emotional regulation and collaborative learning. Dream Class (Mixed Ages: Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten) presents the theatrical performance “The Cool Chameleon.” Combining storytelling, acting, and interactive games, children demonstrate observation skills, imagination, and teamwork while searching for the chameleon. This symbolizes their learning attitude of adapting steadily and exploring courageously in diverse situations.

Theatrical Performance: “The Cool Chameleon”
Color Wanderings in Gongguan (Thematic Learning Zone) simultaneously exhibited children's paintings and clay creations. These works depicted emotions, experiences, and daily life, capturing through brushstrokes and clay molding the children's learning journey of engaging with the land, culture, and their inner selves. This exhibition did not prioritize finished pieces as the sole objective but faithfully documented the children's growth trajectory—accumulated through repeated attempts, revisions, and waiting.

Children's clay creations are also displayed on-site
The event “Transforming Learning into Action” concludes with a heartwarming Year-End Charity Bazaar. Parents donate goods, which are sold alongside handmade pottery by the children. All proceeds are donated to social welfare organizations serving children in Miaoli County. This hands-on participation teaches children sharing, compassion, and giving, drawing the semester to a warm close.
