Toys”R”Us x Eden Social Welfare Foundation to fundraise for "slow-flying angels"
There are one in fifteen children with developmental delays in Taiwan. Knowing the urge for early intervention, the famous toy and juvenile-products retailer -Toys”R”Us, Inc. together with Eden Social Welfare Foundation, who has been working in the field of early childhood intervention for over 23 years, launched the project “ Love Never Delays”, to help the "slow-flying angels".
Until October 31st, Toys”R” Us, Inc. will donate 5% of each purchase on “Hatchimals Surprise”, to Eden Social Welfare Foundation on fundraising for children with developmental delays to receive early intervention services.

Often, the specific cause for developmental delays is unknown. Some causes can be easily reversed if caught early enough, such as hearing loss from chronic ear infections, or lead poisoning. These causes vary and accompanied by a lot of hidden factors left unnoticed that led to developmental delay became “invisible”. Early intervention, therefore plays an important role for children to reach for later education more smoothly.
Children are agents of change when they channel their infinite potential to create a better world. As the former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon once said, “The Sustainable Development Goals recognize that early childhood development can help drive the transformation we hope to achieve over the next 15 years.” By 2030, ensure that all girls and boys have access to quality early childhood development, care and pre-primary education so that they are ready for primary education (SDGs target 4:2).
Early childhood development interventions have proved to be the grounds for later learning, academic success as well as productivity. A study on increasing pre-school enrolment in 73 countries in the year 2015, found higher future wages of US$6 to US$17 per dollar invested, which indicates potential long-term benefits ranging from US$11 to US$34 billion.
