Eden Task Force walks together into the Presbyterian Church X March toward the sustainable journey in the next decade to the best

On the 40th anniversary of Eden, we established its “Eden Task Force” to bring the love and care of Taiwanese and international volunteers for remote areas in Taiwan. The camp lasts for four days, which is from August 15th to 18th. There are 9 international volunteers and 10 students from the Department of Architecture, China University of Technology heading to the Maibagah Branch of the Presbyterian Church. Eden Task Force mainly runs the English camp and the toilet renovation, developing sustainable spirit to reach out the vision of a “Walk together with Eden for commonwealth.”

The children put on the tribal motifs on the wall. The topping-off ceremony completes under the witness of all people. Hence, Eden is honored to invite the Congresswoman Ms.Yuma Baisu, the Mayor from Tai'an Township and the Chair of the Department of Architecture, China University of Technology as our distinguished guests for the ceremony remarks.

After deeply realizing the needs from the church and the tribe, Eden decided to carry out the toilet renovation and English camp. Upholding the spirit of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Eden not only improves the public hygiene environment but also advocates the concept of SDGs in English camp with various games and interesting activities. To be further, revitalizing the tribal economy should be a cinch.

English Summer Camp

In the process of English camp, the international volunteers are immersed in the program preparation with their fiery passion. The volunteer from the United States hopes to learn more about Taiwan besides Taipei. In addition, one of the volunteers from Republic of Guatemala said that she loves to give back Taiwan all of the amazing things, which is similar to the beautiful island has given to her. She wants to share SDGs via simple ways to the children and expects to know more about aboriginal culture in Taiwan.
