Eden Social Welfare Foundation had cooperated with international volunteers for years. Last Wednesday, Eden held an online activity with our entrusted nonprofit Nan Rong preschool in Keelung to dance together and to have simple English teaching class for the children.

Children focused on the class prepared by our volunteer

During the activity, the specialist from Eden not only introduced our volunteers but also showed the world map to the children to broaden their horizons, which made them full of curiosity and fun. This time, our three international volunteers are separately from Belgium, Indonesia, and Taiwan. They prepared dancing activities with cute English songs. Hence the volunteers mixed with English learning and teaching simple vocabularies to the kids. We also appreciate the help from teachers, who had a great influence on keeping the little children focused on our course while the volunteer teaching. In the post-pandemic era, Eden doesn’t give up on every opportunity to help the children in our entrusted preschool. Instead, we continue bringing different learning elements to the children and add much more interaction in it.

Dancing activities mixed with English vocabulary teaching

During the activity, the good news from the preschool is that three-fourths of the teachers had recovered from the Omicron, and half of the little kids had turned back to the school, which means they are all in healthy condition. We are so happy to hear from them. Please say a prayer for them; hope they grow up with safety and peace.
