Christmas is known to be a heartwarming and cheerful holiday. To celebrate with the long-term residents of the Xing Long care center, the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, in association with Family Mart, called upon 13 other collective firms to host a charity event titled “Cold Winter Warm Hearts, Public Welfare with Eden”. On December 21st, members of various corporations handed out 280 shares of meals and provided the Xing Long care center with anti-epidemic materials.

The event not only helped convey physical warmth to those with difficulties, but also warmed their hearts during cold winter. At the end of the event, Wei-Ting Zhan, the director of the Xing Long care center, issued a certificate of appreciation to those who helped make this successful event.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic, many care centers had to restrict their visitors and cancel social events. This greatly affected the social lives of the care center residents, causing many to suffer from loneliness and negativity in the past few months. Therefore, Eden is especially thankful towards the Shi Ding service area, Family Mart, and the 13 collective firms for their kindness and efforts. Their meal delivery event brought great joy to the residents of the care center, creating a precious Christmas memory for them.
