Eden’s Artists Shined in Japan

Big congratulations to Chi-Chong Lian and I-Ming Li who received the Award from DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS held by the Nippon Foundation in Japan.

For a long time, Eden has been advocating the rights for Persons with Disabilities as we believe they do have great potential regardless. We do everything we can to make known the works or masterpieces of any talented people, because they deserve more applauses and recognitions.

Hence, Eden is proud to announce that our service users, Chi-Chong Lian and I–Ming Li from the Taipei WanFang Center for Disabled People, receive the award of Honorable Mentions and Wining Works at the DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS, The 2nd Open-call Exhibition held by The Nippon Foundation in Japan. Big congratulations to Chi-Chong and I-Ming!

As like the Article 30in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) emphasizes, persons with disabilities are encouraged to take part and enjoy any recreation and leisure activities they are interested. This opportunity not only allow the public to catch a glimpse about the talents of the persons with disabilities but also provide a platform for persons with disabilities to showcase their point of view to the world. Chi-Chong and I-Ming are not the only two who get the talent but their achievement did provide a significant encouragement to other people in the similar situation. We look forward to finding out more hidden artists to shine in the world!

NAGASHI (Live Band)

The voice of the singer,

expresses the harsh life he experienced,

expresses the feelings of the wanderer.

Singing Nakasi on the dark road of the life journey,

expresses cheerfulness of not being trapped by sadness.
