2019 Chinese New Year Dinner in Vietnam | Eden Social Welfare Foundation

Eden’s Service Center in Vietnam enjoyed the Chinese New Year Dinner with elderly service users together and had fun with classical music appreciation to celebrate the upcoming year 2019. Within three days at the end of January, the feast started at the blessing from Eden’s pastor, and the songs from Taiwanese singers. Nearly 200 service receivers participated in the Chinese New Year Dinner, and about 100 people took part in worship in the church.

Ms. May Chen, Supervisor at Eden’s Service Center in Vietnam said: “This year, the Chinese New Year Dinner Event was really unique and it made the elderly enjoy the atmosphere pretty much.” Mr. Chung, Director General of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, HCM, and Mr. Shen, President of The Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam, also attended the event to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year. With abundant dishes and nice music, the Chinese New Year Dinner made the elderly feel the public care with them. Besides, it gave good opportunities for the elderly to contact with others.

Afterward, there are two worships which are held at An Quang and HTTL Nguyễn Trãi. The two events of the church have been well received because there is such an opportunity for people who love Liu Xia in Vietnam to know more about Liu Xia's works and what God has done in her life. Many brothers and sisters hope that the pastor will come to Vietnam again, bringing more poetry, testimony, and evangelism to friends and relatives who are in need.
