Eden early intervention therapy helps the slow-flying angel Hsiao Ju called her mother; Eden’s Love Children Happiness Festival starts on 25th, May and Charity Ambassador Roro Huang calls for children’s development can’t be wait

Children only grow up once, to help parents understand their children's development progress and to promote parent-child interaction, Eden Foundation once again organized the "Love Children Happiness Festival" as International Children's Day approach on 1st, June to promote the concept of "all children should be loved" and held a press conference at the Far Eastern Department Store Mega City Banqiao on 25th, May. In addition to invited the famous star Ms. Roro Huang and illustration character Shiba Says experience the challenge-clearing game with the Slow-Flying Angel Hsiao Ju, a child development information consultation was planned for the coming weekend on 28th, May to support the growth of children without getting delay!

Charity Ambassador Roro Huang said that the growth of children needs the company and care of parents in order to give children enough strength to grow up.

The three years and eight months old slow-flying angel Hsiao Ju is a premature baby, at the age of one, her mother found out that she had no spoken language skills and could not even express simple babbling sounds, and could only express her emotions by crying. she even did not respond to simple daily instructions such as brushing teeth, washing hands, or going to the toilet. When the mother took Hsiao Ju out, she would often hear negative comments such as "how can your child be like this" and "you must not be able to teach your child", let the mother faces enormous pressure to take care of Hsiao Ju every day. Fortunately, after more than two years of early intervention service, Hsiao Ju can now say "Daddy, Mommy" and short sentences, and her self-care ability has also improved. The mother said that when she heard Hsiao Ju's call and saw her progress, she was moved and excited. She also hoped that the public would give more encouragement and empathy to the Slow-Flying family and warmly accompany the child's growth.

The mother (second from left) of slow-flying angel Hsiao Ju also came to share her child's journey through early treatment and appealed to the public to support and encourage the Slow-Flying family.

Ms. Roro Huang, a full range star who is the charity ambassador of the festival, said as a mother of three children, she is also like having three sweet burdens, and she deeply understands that parenting is not an easy task, especially when she was pregnant with her oldest child, she had to undergo an emergency surgery because the baby's head was too big, and she was very anxious about the after-effects of the baby. Luckily, the surgery went well and the baby is healthy and safe. The all three of her children are allergic, and her daughter even developed severe allergies not long after she was born. So far, she needs to go back to the clinic regularly, and it hurts Ms. Roro Huang's heart to see her little body struggling. It's a good thing that she has the help and support of her family and husband, and that the whole family can overcome all the challenges together. Her greatest wish is accompanying her children to grow up safely and healthily.

Slow-Flying Angel Hsiao Ju and Ms. Roro Huang completed the challenge-clearing game together and were presented with the winner board by Mr. Mitch Tsao, the Vice CEO of Eden Foundation.

The charity ambassador Roro Huang also appealed that every child has the right to grow up well. When a child is found to have a developmental delay, parents should not be afraid or hesitant to seek help as soon as possible. At the same time, she calls for the public that some children are slow in development, but only believed that with patient companionship and the help of early intervention services, the slow-flying angels would have a opportunity to turn around their growth difficulties. Therefore, we should not discriminate against children in need of help, and we should extend our friendly and tolerant hands to be the most powerful support for the families of slow-flying angels.

After more than two years of early intervention service, the three years and eight months old slow-flying angel Hsiao Ju can respond to the routine daily instructions and say "Daddy, Mommy" now.

This year, Eden Foundation conducted a survey on the current situation of childcare for 0~6 years old, and found that nearly 40% of the caregivers who face the developmental delay of child growth were not willing to seek help due to traditional thinking or fear of being labeled, and most of them chose to wait and observe. And 40% of parents will not seek out reach help when they encounter parenting problems. Parents play a very important role in their children's development, but there can be more than one Superhero to accompany the children to grow up smoothly. When parents encounter parenting problems, just remember to seek help, especially in the face of slow-flying angels, and remember to grasp the golden growth period to help their children catch up with their development. Eden looks forward to calling on the public to give their children quality companionship through the Love Children Happiness Festival, and to support their children to grow up without getting delay.

Through the annual Love Children Happiness Festival, Eden advocates the concept of “all children should be loved” and calls for the publics to pay attention to the progress of children's growth then support the Slow-Flying Angels to catch up with their development.

Mr. Mitch Tsao, Vice CEO of Eden Foundation, said they have been focusing on children's services for a long time, providing daycare, hourly service and home-based care services according to children's different needs and growth development, hoping to help slow-flying angels catch up with their growth progress. In the Love Children Happiness Festival, the theme is "Meet the Mysterious Genies of Geometry Kingdom", combining geometry, color, space and other concepts, through parent-child interactive experience challenges, allowing parents to understand and observe their children's growth progress through games. Eden also launched a parent-child interactive game handbook for free and help parents to use materials readily available at home to make fun games then observe their children's development through interaction. This year, the Love Children Happiness Festival will last for one week from now until June 1, and will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is free to visit and the further information please do not hesitate to search for “Eden Love Children Happiness Festival”.
