We held the interior on-job training for 15 Eden staff as the Online Expert Symposium on How to Connect the Quadrennial Report with the Preparation and Participation for United Nations (UN) Summit and Side Event in the end of Dec., since Eden Foundation has been granted special consultative status of the Committee on Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs) by UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in the late 2021. We indeed learned a lot of the targets and indicators of SDGs under different works, how to partner with the UN Agencies and how does the contents of quadrennial report be composed by what should be doing at meetings/conferences. We really had the great time with these two invited speakers of the Tzu Chi Foundation, Mr. Steven CHIU, Representative of New York Office and Mr. Sean Chor Siong TAN who from Malaysia, currently is the Special Assistant to the CEO.
