Celebrating the Human Rights Day

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, to work and education, freedom of opinion and expression, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights without discrimination.
▫
In the process of promoting the support for persons with disabilities for 38 years, Eden firmly believes that all people are equal and that persons with disabilities should enjoy a free and prosperous life like everyone else. Eden has been implementing the Conventions on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)

It no longer regards the rights and interests of persons with disabilities as the responsibility of public welfare organizations, but ensures that persons with disabilities have equal rights and fundamental freedoms as the general public.
▫
The COVID-19 crisis has deepened poverty and raised inequalities, discrimination, and other human rights protection gaps. This pandemic also hurts the rights of persons with disabilities. Many, especially children with disabilities and adults with high support requirements, might be facing a difficult situation when in quarantine. As a result, we need to pay more attention to protect the human rights of persons with disabilities and make sure that the rights of persons with disabilities are well implemented.
