Uncle Button shares God's love in Eden!

Uncle Button shares God's love in Eden!

Wherever he is, the space is filled with laughs. Wherever he is, the space is full of blessings. A few days ago, Eden foundation invited a Chinese immigrant from Malaysia, Zhen Nanmei, also called Uncle Button, to come to Taiwan. Using his peculiar humor and performances, he will travel from north to south Taiwan in Eden’s service centers to give fourteen performances and one art practice course; hoping that artistic performances and interactions will bring happiness to care-users, as much as caregivers, and carry some positive vibes into the centers, warming up everyone’s hearts.

He wears big shoes, is dressed with red and white striped cloth, has a head clothed with an adorable round hat, and a flashy red nose on his face. Zheng Nanmei, a Chinese migrant in Malaysia, started his humoristic clown act 23 years ago, believing that creative performances helps to the development of children’s skills. Since he first began the art of creative performances, he was resolute to be a professional clown. So, as a believer, Zheng Nanmei started to performance small plays that included poems, Holy Bible tales, and Jesus’s love. He uses props to get into the performances, and says prayers to conclude the “reunion”, wishing to everyone a life full of happiness and salvation.

This year, Eden and Uncle Button will cooperate together to hold fourteen performances in Eden’s centers, gathering in total nearly 450 elderly persons, slow flying angels and disabled friends to participate, having fun together with a smile on their faces. One can only imagine how long it has been since they last showed this kind of earnest smile. Uncle Button’s pace is relentless, continuously spreading more laughs and God’s love all around; spreading happiness all over the world, never letting love get away.
